Advent calender blog hop

Hi every one :)
Its time for another Blog Hop arranged by Jo  this time the Advent Calender Blog Hop with the theme "Stocking, Sack or Something else?"  So here is my Christmas photo and then I shall tell you my answer ..lol

My Christmas ornie display some given and some are stitched by me :)

Ok my answer is Stockings ... as small children, we had stockings hung on our door handles  my sister and I , which we found usually at 5.00 am full of wonderful goodies for us individually wrapped and at the bottom was a satsuma and some gold coins :)  this kept us quiet until it was time to get up properly ....
I have continued this tradition but my DD's don't like satsumas ..lol and also we hung a stocking up for our "boys" and Master Bentley will be having is own this Christmas too ... so that Santa Paws can come and visit him heheheh ;0)
happy Blog Hopping :)
love mouse xxxxxx

Hey Mouse me and my sister always had a stocking full of little wrapped presents with gold coins, nuts and a satsuma at the bottom - it must have been something they did back then. It used to pacify us until we went downstairs to see if Santa had been! Happy memories x

Lovely display of ornaments.
I use to love putting my girls stocking up each year .
It take's me back to when I was a little girl ,a great big pillow case with a few little gifts at the bottom and some nuts and fruit, those were they days no rushing around because we had no money to spend , but we were so happy, hugs.

Your ornaments are lovely. Stockings definitely seem to be winning this battle.

Gorgeous basket of ornies! I have asked for a basket and/or bowl to keep mine in as a Christmas present. I just need a few more ornies to put in it then!

What beautiful ornaments!! Duffy gets visited by Santa Claws, too, though we usually have to hide the squeaky toys shortly after he opens the package! LOL
